To earn your rewards, just do the following transactions and activities in your Kasasa Giving account during each Monthly Qualification Cycle:
- Have at least 1 direct deposit, bill pay, or ACH payment transaction post and settle
- Have at least 10 signature-based debit card purchases, each greater than $10, post and settle
- Be enrolled in and agree to receive E-Statements
And if you don’t qualify, don’t worry:
You still have a free checking account. Plus, you’ll earn our base rate. And you can get right back to earning your full rewards the very next cycle that you qualify.
*Qualification Information: Account transactions and activities may take one or more days to post and settle to the account and all must do so during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in order to qualify for the account’s rewards. The following activities do not count toward earning account rewards: ATM-processed transactions, transfers between accounts, signature based debit card purchases less than $10.00, debit card purchases processed by merchants and received by our credit union as ATM transactions, PIN-based transactions, non-retail payment transactions, and purchases made with debit cards not issued by our credit union. “Monthly Qualification Cycle” means a period beginning one (1) business day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1) business day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. Rewards Information: When Kasasa Giving qualifications are met during a Monthly Qualification Cycle balances up to $2,500 in your Kasasa Giving account receive an APY of 1.00%; and balances over $2,500 earn 0.25% interest rate on the portion of the balance over $2,500. When your Kasasa Giving qualifications are not met, all balances in the Kasasa Giving account earn an APY of 0.05%. In addition, you will receive reimbursements up to $10 for nationwide ATM fees incurred during the Monthly Qualification Cycle in which you qualified. Also, for each signature-based debit card purchase greater than $10.00 that posts and settles to your account during the Monthly Qualification Cycle, $0.25 will be provided to the charity you selected when you opened your account: either United Way, Hands to Hands, Humane Society of Wichita County, or the American Cancer Society. This charity is responsible for providing you with donation receipts. Please consult your tax professional to determine if your Kasasa Giving contributions qualify as a tax deduction. When Kasasa Giving qualifications are not met, all balances in your Kasasa Giving account earn a 0.05% APY and ATM fees are not refunded. Dividends and ATM fee reimbursements will be credited to your Kasasa Giving account on the last day of the current statement cycle. APY = Annual Percentage Yield. APYs accurate as of 09/06/2016.
