Feb 1, 2021
Your financial security is always our top priority! To better protect you and your money, starting February 22 and running through June, we will begin rolling out enhanced security measures for online banking.
Security Enhancement 1: Two-Step verification for new devices
Whenever you access your online banking from a new device, you will be prompted to verify your identity by either:
- texting yourself a numerical verification code
- emailing yourself an authentication code
- answering a security question
Your phone number, email and security questions will be automatically imported based on the account information we have on file for you. If any of these are incorrect or outdated, and you have trouble verifying your account, please give us a call at 940-851-4000 to update your information on file.
Security Enhancement 2: Increased Password and Username Complexity Requirements
Beginning on February 16, you may be asked to create a new username or password for your online banking account that includes more characters and a variety of letters and numbers. By transitioning to more complex usernames and passwords, we can decrease the ability of hackers to gain access to your account.
