It isn’t easy to think of adults as victims of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Yet every day in Texoma, there are men and women who need the assistance of Adult Protective Services. APS works to remove these individuals from harm’s way, but can not always provide everything they need in the way of everyday necessities of life.

So each year at TCCU, we host a gift giving program for clients of Adult Protective Services. Through the generosity of our members, staff, and community we are able to give some Christmas cheer to those in need.

You can help by donating a modest gift of needed items or money to the TCCU Tree of Life project.

Virtual ornaments will be available ONLINE ONLY starting Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

NEW THIS YEAR:

Rather than asking members and non-members to stop by our lobbies to select an ornament representing a community member in need, we will host a digital sign-up (link coming soon).

No ornaments will be available in person at our lobbies, however, our employees are happy to assist you in person with digital sign up if needed.

On December 1, visit the sign-up website, and discover what it is the recipient of your gift needs. It is often something like a small appliance, personal hygiene items, or articles of clothing.

Please drop off the gifts to any of our three TCCU branches by Tuesday, December 15 so APS can distribute the gifts in time for Christmas.

IMPORTANT: Please bring the gift to TCCU unwrapped, in an unsealed gift bag, and be sure to include the virtual ornament number on a clearly marked label so the gift can be matched with its recipient.

If you would prefer to donate money to the Tree of Life Project, you may do so by depositing funds to a special account that has been set up at Texoma Community Credit Union.
