Branch Relations Manager Leslie Rhodes Graduates from Southwest CUNA Management School
Texoma Community Credit Union is proud to recognize Leslie Rhodes, Branch Relations Manager, as a 2017 graduate of the Southwest CUNA Management School.
Among only 38 graduating students in a region of five states, Rhodes chose to further her career and commitment to the credit union industry with three years of instruction designed to develop and enhance leadership skills while deepening knowledge of the credit union movement.
This program, which focuses on advocacy, asset liability management, innovation, leadership and strategic planning, is often referred to as a “Masters in Credit Unions” because it is taken in addition to other graduate degrees already obtained.
Rhodes joins three other TCCU employees to complete the program. Chief Executive Officer John Buckley, Chief Lending Officer Ken Thomason, and Chief Operations Officer Angie Ohmstede earned their degrees in 1995, 2009 and 2014, respectively.
While this program is optional, many TCCU employees have taken on the challenge over the years to further their own knowledge and bolster their ability to fulfill TCCU mission, “We are building a community where everyone is given the tools to become RICH. (Ready, Independent, Charitable, and Happy!)”
